Ignacio Rubio Perez

Resident Director in Sydney, Australia

Originally from Granada, in the South of Spain, Ignacio "Nacho" Rubio Perez studied Translation and Interpreting at the University of Granada. He also studied abroad in Montpellier, in the South of France on a scholarship. He then did the CAP Program teaching English and later studied audiovisual communication. Nacho has worked with ISA in different offices in Spain, has been in charge of student services in the ISA Granada office, and has the ISA Resident Director in Santander.

Nacho loves sport, especially rugby, and is also a big traveller. He has travelled extensively around Europe and North Africa, has lived in the USA with his family while in school and is passionate about Australia.

As the ISA Sydney Resident Director , Nacho is very interested in intercultural communication and is eager to help students explore Sydney and get the most out of their study abroad experience in Australia by better understanding the culture and following their passions.
