This program is open to students at all levels of Spanish proficiency. A wide variety of courses are available including Spanish language, literature, history, culture, art, business, economics, marketing, and more. This program offers courses in both Spanish and English. All courses are taught by faculty from the host university and are held with international students. This program begins with a month-long preparatory Spanish language course before the start of the semester. Students will receive 45 hours of instruction for the language course.

Program Highlights include:
  • ISA office in the heart of the city.
  • Housing: Homestays with local families to help improve language and cultural immersion, student residences located in the center of the city.
  • Academic: Spanish courses at all levels of proficiency and Hispanic studies courses available. Courses instructed in Spanish only.
  • 45-hour intensive Spanish course takes place before fall semester begins
  • Two optional (included) 45-hour intensive Spanish language courses take place before spring semester begins.
  • Eligibility: GPA 2.5 with no language pre-requisites.
