This program accommodates students at all levels of Spanish proficiency. Beginning level courses focus solely on language acquisition while intermediate, advanced, and superior level courses expand on Spanish culture, in addition to grammar. Classes are taught in Spanish by host university faculty and students are in class with international students.

Students have the option of incorporating an Intensive Month program for an additional cost. Please refer to the Intensive Month page for more information.

Program Highlights include:

  • ISA offices in the heart of the city.
  • Housing highlights: Homestays with local families to help improve language and cultural immersion, student residences.
  • Academic highlights: Courses focused on Spanish language acquisition. All courses instructed in Spanish at La Univerisdad de Salamanca, which is well-known for teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
  • Trimester length program.
  • Eligibility: GPA 2.5 with no language pre-requisites.
