ISA Standard Programs

ISA offers a wide variety of study abroad programs at accredited schools and universities in the regions of Asia, Africa, Eastern and Western Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and the Pacific. These programs span over 70 cities in: Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, England, Fiji, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Morocco, New Zealand, Peru, Scotland, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Thailand and Turkey.

ISA Custom Programs

The goal of ISA Custom Programs is to design, implement and support study abroad programs based on your university's curricular objectives. By utilizing ISA's existing infrastructure, U.S. universities have the flexibility to expand their program offerings while maintaining full oversight of curriculum.

ISA Internships & Service-Learning

ISA Internships & Service-Learning provides participants a unique experiential learning programs abroad. Internship placements focus on high-quality, customized work experiences while offering career-building guidance before, during and after the program. Service-Learning placements are designed to meet the needs of the local community while developing skills relevant to the participant's field of study through guided reflection. From real-world international internships to community-based projects, Internships & Service-Learning works with participants to identify opportunities that challenge them to learn, grow and strengthen their practical knowledge and skills.

ISA Gap Programs

ISA Gap Programs offer high school graduates the opportunity to study abroad before entering college. The programs do not have to encompass a full year, as students can choose from a variety of ISA summer or semester programs or a combination of both. ISA Gap Program participants will be grouped with ISA college students from across the US. ISA Gap Programs are ideal for students who want to explore their interest, delve into unfamiliar territory and are ready for an experience that will help them enter college more focused and independent.

ISA High School

ISA High School offers two- to four-week summer programs that focus on language acquisition and cultural immersion for students at various levels of proficiency. Through these academic programs, students have the opportunity to take classes at an accredited international university and earn college credit. Through Global Impact programs, students can earn college credit and help make a difference in their host community through volunteer service. Academic programs are available in China, Costa Rica, England, France, Germany, Italy, Peru and Spain; Global Impact programs are available in Costa Rica and Peru. ISA High School can also organize custom programs for high school foreign language teachers to take students abroad.

Veritas Christian Study Abroad

Veritas Abroad facilitates college-level study abroad programs that combine the distinct pursuits of Christian college educators with the best practices in the field of international education. In order to help students become more globally mission-minded, Veritas Abroad will facilitate links between the students and local evangelical ministries. As the students engage the host culture, they will develop a greater understanding and love for the people in their host culture that will forever change their understanding of the world.


EuroScholars is a prestigious research abroad program designed for talented and highly motivated undergraduate students looking to take their interest in virtually any field of study to the international arena. The EuroScholars consortium consists of nine highly renowned research institutions throughout Europe, for which ISA is the sole North American recruitment partner. Students spend the majority of their time participating in an ongoing project as a member of a research team and have the opportunity to take additional courses in language & culture, research methods and potentially an elective course in their field of interest. The EuroScholars program culminates in each student developing a paper of publishable quality.
