Course outline:
Module A of EEE2038W. This module covers electrical circuits and aims to develop an understanding of DC circuits, voltage, current and power network theorems, transient circuit analysis, single phase AC circuit theory; phasor diagrams for resistive, inductive and capacitive loads; complex power and power factor correction.36 lectures; 10 tutorials, 1 practical.
DP requirements: Satisfactory completion of coursework.
Assessment: Project (5%), Class Test (35%), June Examination (60%)
Course Entry Requirements: MAM1018F/S, PHY1013F/S or equivalent.
