Overview
This module has a practical focus. Students will learn about the nature of business decision making, including the key
role of information, risk and complexity, and the internal and the external economic and financial environment within
which these decisions are made. Emphasis is placed on the students? ability to identify, select and use appropriate
data, in a range of formats, to analyse and solve a range of business problems. Learning activities include directed
lecture, seminar and computer-lab sessions and scenario-based enquiry-led workshops, within which students will
operate as decision ?teams?.
Assessment: Group Coursework (25%) ; Exam (75%).
