Marketing research is the use of information to minimise risk in marketing decision making. This module takes
students through the steps involved in determining the purpose, the population of interest, the procedures to use and
how to present the results of a marketing research project, instructing them in the use of secondary and primary data
sets qualitative and quantitative tools to apply them in different contexts. Students practice active learning, problem
solving, and autonomy. The module provides marketing knowledge and transferable skills required for professional
marketers.
Assessment: Individual Coursework (25%) ; Exam - Closed Book (70%).
