Overview
This module explores the impact of the digital economy. Digital products are intensive in terms of their information
content, profoundly affecting their production and consumption. The growing availability of ?Big Data? creates scope for
new competitive insights for companies. At a macroeconomic level, too, the growth of the internet and digital
technology offers major opportunities for governments seeking to harness the potential of the ?new economy?.
Assessment: Online Test (25%) ; Group Presentation (25%) ; Report - 2000 words (50%).
