Overview
London is one of the entertainment centres of the world. It is home to world-class theatres, music venues, museums,
galleries, festivals and much else. A varied ?cultural? sector is essential for a world city; it generates income, builds
creativity and attracts tourists and other visitors. This module covers the business of entertainment ? its funding,
management and marketing, and the role played by private, non-profit organisations and government in its provision.
Assessment: In-class Test (50%) ; Group Briefing Report (3000 words) (50%).
