Overview
The rationale for international trade and finance law, international trade and financial institutions; sources of law; legal risks in international trade; the contribution of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) to the liberalization of trade in goods, services and intellectual property rights; the mechanisms for settlement of international trade and investment disputes; global finance regulation and the banking crisis; contractual issues in international business commercial transactions.
Assessment: Coursework (50%), Examination - restricted (50%)
