Assessment: essay (2500 words) [70%], seminar presentation [20%] research exercise [10%]
This module will focus on the role of human rights in international relations, introducing students to theories of international relations, historical and current problems in world politics, and the relationship between human rights norms and conventions and the interests of nation-states.
