Overview
Assessment: statistics test and project proposal
Prerequisite(s): successful completion of first year biological/biomedical studyThis module will provide students with the tool kit to understand and carry out research. Through interactive lectures, students will learn how to design a research project, including ethical considerations, literature search and referencing. Furthermore, through both lectures and practical sessions, students will engage with data analysis, learning some basic methods of how to analyse and interpret raw data statistically. All of these skills are important qualities necessary to undertake and critically read original research.
