    Assessment: report (4000 words)
    This module aims to develop students? knowledge and understanding of different theoretical perspectives on the relationship between the family and society and how that relationship is mutually influential. It will examine family structures and dynamics including parenting practices. It will look at theory and practice in intervening in the lives of families facing particular difficulties. Theory and practice in forming professional partnerships with families, based on mutual respect and trust, will be examined.
