Module descriptionThis module will introduce you to the world of London and British Cinema. You will explore London as a film set, whilst also gaining an understanding of some significant debates within film studies, spanning from 1896 to the present day.With a concentration on several themes- Victorian London, Wartime to Swinging London and London: The Global City- this module will provide you with an insight into the culture and history of British Cinema and London. Through exploring the cities historical streets, museums, galleries, parks and buildings, you?ll mature from city visitor to city dweller.Film details for this year?s module will be published soon.
