Credits: 15.0Overlap: NonePrerequisite: NoneThis module will combine the exploration of modern and contemporary ideologies with the analysis of key political concepts. It begins by examining conceptions of politics and the political, with particular attention to what it might mean to approach politics normatively/critically and through a range of theoretical perspectives. The module will proceed by introducing modern political ideologies (liberalism, socialism, conservatism, Marxism, anarchism, nationalism) in the context of their historical development.
