Prerequisite: NoneThis is a rigorous first module in linear algebra. The ideas introduced in Geometry I for two- and
three-dimensional space will be developed and extended in a more general setting with a view to
applications in subsequent pure and applied mathematics, probability and statistics modules.
There will be a strong geometric emphasis in the presentation of the material and the key concepts will be
illustrated by examples from various branches of mathematics. The module contains a fair number of proofs.Assessment: 10.0% Coursework, 90.0% Examination
