Prerequisite: MTH4104This module teaches the language of higher mathematics, and how to use it with precision and fluency in a
variety of contexts. For raw material, it calls on the mathematics developed in the first year, which you
will see from a more mature perspective. The module also develops some elements of logic that serve as the
basis for an analysis of the main techniques used in mathematical proofs. You will get a lot of practice and
feedback through the coursework.Assessment: 20.0% Coursework, 80.0% Examination
