Prerequisite: MTH4106This module develops some of the ideas first introduced in Introduction to Statistics. It begins by covering
some of the essential theoretical notions required, such as covariance, correlation and independence of random
variables. The majority of the material covers different types of statistical tests: how to use them and when
to use them. This material is essential for applications of statistics in psychology, the life or physical
sciences, business or economics. It is also required for further study of statistics.Assessment: 10.0% Coursework, 90.0% Examination
