Prerequisite: NoneThe module examines contemporary issues concerning equality and diversity in management and leadership in international context. It explores developing equality approaches and strategies affecting management and leadership in private and public sector organisations in different national contexts, including analysis of changing legislative frameworks for equality. The theoretical underpinnings of such strategies are examined, exploring a range of conceptual approaches to inequality on the basis of gender, ethnicity, class and sexuality among other grounds, while critically engaging with developing theories of intersectionality.
