Prerequisite: NoneThis is an important subject for everyone who has an interest in business and wants to understand how innovation can affect the success and failure of firms. Successful innovation is a very complex process and has to be very carefully managed. There is no 'right way' to manage innovation. Therefore it is important to analyse the innovation process from a range of different perspectives, for example, the role of the state in innovation and the core competencies of the firm.
