Credits: 15.0Overlap: NonePrerequisite: NoneThe module in Operations Management (BUS002) has been designed to provide students with a clear understanding of the most important issues in OM (such as process design, capacity planning and control, supply chain management, just in time and total quality management) through a blend of theoretical approaches and seminar-based activities. Students are also encouraged to analyse the relationship between the production of services and goods and the reproduction of technical and managerial knowledge, and the implications of such a relationship in terms of governance and strategic decisions.Assessment: 20.0% Practical, 80.0% CourseworkLevel: 5
