Overview
1 / General objectives of the course:
Know the Paris of yesterday and today from different angles: artistic, historical and sociological, to
through its neighborhoods, monuments, architecture, some works of art and characters
famous.2 / Teacher's pedagogical approach:
From short articles, literary extracts, video documents (documentaries or extracts from
films), reproductions of works of art, songs, we will approach the city of Paris from a point of view
artistic, historical and sociological.
The courses will be punctuated by visits according to the themes studied.
A personal research assignment at home or in class, is required of students before approaching
a theme.
Presentations corresponding to a list of themes
Development of a common class project "my Paris" photo and short text.3 / Supports
All media used in the classroom (booklets, film clips, documentaries, songs, plans, texts,
photos) are provided by the teacher.
Provide a ticket for travel. All outings are free.

Note 3: a work at home
Note 4: a presentation
Each note takes into account knowledge and expression in French.
Attendance at table checks is mandatory to obtain the certificate.6 / Attendance, punctuality
ANY ABSENCE MUST BE JUSTIFIED.
Beyond two absences, the course will not be validated on the certificate.
