Overview
Group piano lessons; approved ensemble.
Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of the module, students should be able to:
-perform a short recital at post-Grade 6 standard (only applicable to students taking the first-study instrument/voice strand).
-perform technical studies, scales, and arpeggios as relevant to their instrument/voice of at least Grade 7 standard (only applicable to students taking the first-study instrument/voice strand) .
-demonstrate basic techniques in harmonisation, transposition, and improvisation at the keyboard (only applicable to students taking the group piano lessons strand).
-Adopt a self-critical approach towards their own performance.Teaching & Learning methods:
