Overview
Module Objective: To introduce the history and development of scientific research within psychology and to consider ethical, methodological and theoretical issues in modern psychology.
Module Content: The history of psychology as a scientific research discipline. Introduction to the scientific method. Experimental design. Conceptual and ethical issues in psychological research and practice. Research and report writing in psychology.
