Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of the module, students should be able to:
- Identify and analyse a number of themes in modern Irish history
- Compile two short to mid-length essays on selected topics in the course using a broad range of secondary sources and some primary sources
- Contribute significantly to self- and group-learning through active participation in tutorial sessions
- Independently consult a range of relevant source material to broaden knowledge gained from lectures and tutorialsTeaching & Learning Methods:
