Overview
The aim of this module is to introduce the basic principles of computer programming in C/C++ and to introduce simple numerical methods of relevance to modelling of physical systems.
Module content
C/C++ programming, basic input/output, mathematical functions, repetition and conditional operations, arrays, user defined functions, file handling. Numerical Integration, numerical root finding.
