Overview
This module builds on the earlier studio modules by introducing students to projects of a larger physical
scale and addressing some of the contemporary challenges facing those involved in landscape architecture.
Taking the peri-urban fringe as a starting point this studio looks at notions of urban and rural and considers
issues of urban biodiversity and ecosystems services. Studio project will involve precedent studies, site
survey and a series of design and research projects.
