Overview
This module aims to equip students with a general understanding of marketing communications from an industry, firm, and consumer perspective. The concept of "how advertising works" will be covered and focus will be given to how companies set objectives for marketing communication activities. Other topics covered include an exploration of the alternative marketing communications options available to companies, focusing specifically on the areas of - sales promotion, public relations, sponsorship, direct marketing and interactive media.
