Overview
The first part of the module (MT) covers the constitution, elections and electoral behaviour, parties and the party system, and politics in Northern Ireland. The second part (HT) covers key political institutions (including the government and parliament), policy-making, Ireland in international politics (including its relationship with the EU) and will introduce some contemporary issues including gender and representation in Irish politics, political corruption and the politics of reform, and politics after the Celtic Tiger.
