Overview
This module is the first of three in a cycle and is designed as an introduction to the growing field of drama and theatre practice known as Applied Theatre or Socially Engaged Theatre. Applied Theatre uses techniques from theatre and drama, applying them to non-theatre contexts including Educational drama & Theatre-in-Education (T.I.E.), Youth Theatre, Community theatre and drama, Theatre Outreach & Education projects, Prison drama/ theatre, Arts and Health, Disability Arts, Theatre of the Oppressed, and more.
