Overview
This course is recommended for students who have an interest in Italian food traditions, culture and society. This course focuses on what is generally defined as ?Made in Italy? culture and style in post-war Italy. Lectures will cover topics such as the role of women in Italian society, superstitions, food and wine as cultural traditions, and the effect of social change on culture and style. The course is supplemented with field visits, audio-visual material, and cooking and wine tasting lessons.
