Overview
Through the study of figurative sculpture in abstract or realistic modes, students develop their ability using different traditional sculptural media such as wax, plaster, stone, wood, and clay. Basic casting techniques will be introduced during the course and, through the exploration of different techniques students will learn how the choice of materials can help to communicate a specific artistic identity and the expression of individual sensibilities.
