Overview
This course offers the opportunity to study several ornamentation techniques: trapunto, welting, pleating, inlay, weaving. Students learn the different methods of application on leather apparel and on accessories such as handbags, belts and shoes, and acquire basic patternmaking skills related to leather garments. The class will introduce the student to the subject and then focus on the area of study.
