Overview
Develops a theoretical understanding of the fundamental elements of the policy cycle and of the key institutional determinants of governance, in both national and international contexts. Students will read broadly on the evolution of the regulatory state in the twentieth century and how the rise of the digital economy is impacting on regulatory politics. Cases will be studied primarily from Europe and other advanced economies.
