Overview
This course is centred on the fundamental notions of macroeconomic theory. Its purpose is to allow students to master some of the central concepts of macroeconomics and to understand economic phenomena, such as inflation, unemployment, economic growth, short-run fluctuations, and monetary and fiscal policies.
Primary emphasis is placed upon acquiring tools in order to analyze current economic issues and to develop a critical understanding of everyday economic problems, public choices and policies, and macroeconomic data and news.
