  • Overview

    COURSE OVERVIEW
    This course covers issues in international corporate finance, i.e., the financial operations of a firm in a
    multinational environment, as well as relevant topics in international financial markets. The language of the
    course is English.

    LEARNING OBJECTIVES
    The main objectives of this course are:
    • Understand the structure and functioning of the international capital markets.
    • Understand the role of exchange rate risk in a firm’s international financial operations.
    • Gain the ability to evaluate which risks to hedge, and which to bear in a multinational setting.
    • Be able to estimate the international cost of capital and use it in capital budgeting decisions.
    • Understand the process of financing international financing operations.
    The methodology employed in this course is based on Lecture notes and discussions during theoretical and
    practical classes. The students will engage with several evaluation components to ensure the continuous
    learning process.
