To provide students with an understanding of commercial arbitration in the context of English, Scottish andinternational provisions. Emphasis will be on the practical application of the legal principles and the operationof practice. The course deals with arbitration agreements and applicable laws; arbitration procedures;arbitrators; arbitral awards.
