Overview
This module is designed to cover both theoretical and applied aspects of competition law and policy.Competition law is getting more and more popular among students inasmuch as the significance of the issuesof economic competition and its legal regulation increases in the contemporary world exponentially. The aimof the module is to introduce students to competition law, which is concerned with regulating, in the publicinterest, arrangements which restrict competition, for example the ability of powerful enterprises to limitcompetition by unilateral conduct or the creation of positions of undue economic power. The course aims toexamine the main substantive laws relating to competition within the EU and the UK, and at an internationallevel.
