Students from NorthAmerica must have at least a 3.0 GPA to be considered for FMS modules. Only students enrolled on Film orMedia degree programmes at their home institutions will be considered for Film & Media modules. -

Overview
The aim of the module is to enable students to understand the role played by cultural theory in Film & MediaStudies. On completion of this module, students should be able to explain the significance of key culturaltheorists and understand how their work has informed the discipline. They should be able to transfer thislearning to their studies, identifying appropriate theoretical frameworks that might underpin their ownresearch.
