Overview
French for Beginners is an intensive course and is the first step towards joining the Advance stream at the end of semester 3. After Semester 3, there is no further differentiation between former Beginners and non-former Beginners.
This course is designed for students with no previous knowledge of French, but students with some experience of the language up to GCSE/Standard Grade French may in some cases be admitted, following consultation with the Language Coordinator and/or the French Programme Director.
This module is particularly relevant to students who wish to add an international component to their degree.
