Overview
The module will introduce students to an understanding of social policy and social welfare in contemporaryBritain. It will equip students with conceptual frameworks and an understanding of the different ideologicalperspectives for the analysis of social policy. Some of the key issues in contemporary social welfare will behighlighted and provision in other countries will be discussed.
