Overview
Drawing on John Beddington?s (Chief Scientific Adviser to HM Government) observation that global society isfacing a ?perfect storm? of intrinsically linked climate change, population growth, food security increasingdemands for energy and water, we ask the question ?What can Environmental Geographers meaningfullycontribute to these major emerging issues??. Our point of departure for this consideration is the recentweb-based mapping that has been undertaken to give spatial and temporal representation of the ?perfectstorm?.
