Overview
Module Description
This module gives students the opportunity to develop their own creative writing by providing an introduction to fiction, non-fiction/memoir and poetry. The course takes students through the writing process, from their own original ideas to the realisation of them. Creativity, research and editing are central to the course.
Module Objectives
The module uses seminars to look at a range of writing genres (fiction, poetry, non-fiction, memoir) and then asks students to engage in practice-led creative writing exercises that form the basis of tutor-led workshops.
