Overview
This module reviews current knowledge of the development of perception, thought, language andcommunication in the period from infancy to early adolescence. Workshops allow students to review commonelements of method in developmental psychology, particularly those involved in carrying out effectiveexperiments. Group practical projects provide experience in discussing, reviewing, planning and executingdevelopmental research with the department?s on-site playgroup.
