Overview
This module will provide students with an introduction to the management of sports (e.g., rationale for sportsmanagement, challenges) and the specificities managers face in the sport sector module investigates theapplication of modern marketing techniques to sport. The module aims to extend knowledge of marketingapproaches and applications into a lesser known sector, sport; utilise marketing concepts in understandingbusiness approaches to sport marketing; and consider if sport marketing is 'different' to other sectors.
