Overview
This advanced module aims to provide students with knowledge and understanding of the psychologicaltechniques that can be used to improve performance in competitive sport. This module builds upon theintroductory information provided in SPSU912 and examines the psychological theories underpinning a range ofmental skill interventions. This module reviews the methods of assessment in sport psychology and allowsstudents to plan, implement and evaluate an appropriate mental skills programme for a performing athlete.
