  • Overview

    Course Description:
    Intermediate level course, whose contents are framed within level B1 of the Common Framework
    Reference European Council (CEFR), and in which, from a communicative perspective, the development
    integrated and meaningful of fundamental linguistic skills, and more specifically of the skills
    written (comprehension, expression and interaction). Likewise, emphasis is placed on teaching the contents
    lexical and grammatical, always seeking to respond to the communicative and academic needs of the
    student.
    To reach the CEFR level it is essential to complete 90 teaching hours and complement this course with
    that of Spanish Language. Oral skills. INTERMEDIATE level (B1).
    Course methodology:
    The orientation of the program is communicative, both in its purposes and in the methodology it follows. It
    means that the objectives, at their different levels of concreteness, are set in terms of usability
    of the tongue; that the contents are derived from the objectives thus established; and that the work methodology
    is based on carrying out use activities, accompanied by the necessary reflection processes on
    the language that facilitate the internalization and mastery of its various structures and units.
    Course objectives:
    THE ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE
    ⦿ Be able to understand the main points of clear texts written in standard language, which deal with
    on known issues, whether in work, study or leisure situations.
    ⦿ Be able to produce simple and coherent texts on familiar topics in which you have an interest
    staff.
    ⦿ Be able to describe experiences, events, desires and aspirations, as well as briefly justify the
    own opinions or explain one's own plans.
    ⦿ Be aware of the most important rules of courtesy and act appropriately.
    ⦿ Be aware of the most significant differences that exist between customs, practices,
    attitudes, values ​​and beliefs that prevail in Spanish society and in your own, and know
    respond appropriately to such differences.
    LINGUISTIC SKILLS
    ⦿ Have enough linguistic elements to describe unpredictable situations, to
    explain the main points of an idea or problem with reasonable precision and to express ideas
    on abstract or cultural topics, such as music and cinema.
    ⦿ Demonstrate a good command of basic vocabulary, despite the possible presence of errors when
    express more complex ideas or when addressing unusual topics and situations.
