    This course is designed to help students further develop the proper skills necessary to produce and understand the written word. Attention will be paid to style, grammatical proficiency, vocabulary, and narrative. Students will practice writing stories, reports, letters and other types of documents.

    GENERAL OBJECTIVES  

    1 Understand short and medium-length texts related to topics of general interest. 

    2 Produce short personal texts related to the social and everyday environment. 

    3 Know and use the main connectors of written discourse. 

    4 Learn the basic rules of spell checking.
