Overview
The course will formally introduce an overview of clinical genetics diagnostics for both, rare disease and oncology. Up to date examples and success stories of clinical diagnostics using NGS will be provided. Focus in new therapies and new molecular methods used for detecting the disease would be explained by outstanding professionals in the field. Attendance to related scientific seminars and introductory pathology, molecular genomics and bioinformatics sessions, is included. Likewise, the student will work on paper and tasks assignments on clinical impact of molecular techniques, molecular cancer profiling and therapies, cell signalling and molecular pathways.
