Overview
The course contents are focused on developing the basic skills for performing common medical genomics analysis and molecular diagnosis using new generation sequencing. Introductory programming skills and essential QC and exploratory data analysis of clinical results would be learned in practical lessons. Attendance to related scientific seminars and introductory molecular genomic sessions is included. Likewise, the student will work on paper and tasks assignments on bioinformatics analysis, software development techniques, cloud computing, and modelling cell signalling and molecular pathways.
